Quality in Search Meets Truth in Search
August 28, 2008 |
I WANTED TO share some exciting news with you regarding a new pay-per-click automation software application called ClickEquations. ClickEquations has not been officially released to the public yet but from what I have tested so far this new tool is by far the most powerful analytics AND reporting tool I have used to date. The analytics function of ClickEquations goes above and beyond other competing products not by adding more bells and whistles, but by providing the information that really matters in the most user friendly way possible.
The reporting feature of ClickEquations is highly innovative. The one-touch management to executive level reports and dashboards reduce non-value added time of generating reports and dashboards from hours to minutes. This alone is worth requesting a free trial of ClickEquations .
Now I know that some who read this will consider my praise and opinion biased since I’ve had input into the requirements of ClickEquations and that criticism is fair. I am proud of the people I have worked with over the last two years and the product we’ve developed.
Biased aside I believe that the ClickEquations tag line “Truth in Search ” has been wisely chosen. I have written about this before but there is a level of quality that goes beyond description - you just know it when you see it . It feels right; it is something that you know in your gut can trust. Truth and quality go hand in hand. ClickEquations pulls data that is highly accurate, data you can trust and integrates it with a UI that is fast and consistently reliable. There is no idle time waiting (one of the seven wastes ) for screens to refresh or for reports to be generated. Re-work, also considered waste, caused by incomplete data pulls or broken excel plug-ins does not happen when using ClickEquations.
One of the most important features about ClickEquations is that quality has been built into the software based on real user requirements (search engine marketers) and tested over and over by a very skilled team of developers using the agile software development process. The development process happens in smaller iterations with improvements continually added to the software as needed (read: JIT ). This allows for a high level of quality control to be maintained by a software team working in a very flexible environment. The key point is that all of this work happens BEFORE the software is ready for public release this Fall.
From an operations perspective we’ve also adopted the agile process of managing our client services. For me this is a major step in the development of Lean Search Marketing which I had predicted would happen earlier this year. ClickEquations will ultimately eliminate non-value added tasks and help myself and thousands of other search engine marketers become more efficient and effective in doing what it is we do best.
So yes, I am excited about ClickEquations for a number of reasons. If you are interested in seeing what the buzz is about sign up for a free trial . You can also follow Craig Danuloff and his updates about the software and other pay-per-click insights at the ClickEquations Blog .
